You can add people to a group one by one, or you can import a list of co-workers in bulk. To add people one by one, click add people below the groups cover photo. Then type the names of the co-workers you want to add, then click Add.
If you need to import many co-workers at one time, import using a CSV file. This is more efficient than adding people one by one. Similarly, click add people under the groups cover photo. You may need to click … first. Click import, then import file. If you don’t have a file yet, click download CSV Template to create a new file. Select the file you want to open, review list of co-workers, and click invite all.
If you add people by bulk import with multiple email addresses, it is possible there may be duplicate accounts. To resolve this, manually delete these accounts. To prevent future duplications, go to manage members. Click on options to set a rule, such as filter by role, department, location etc. This means you can bulk set rules to add or remove people who don’t match the rules you set.
It is important to remember that you can also add co-workers to a group by sending an invite link. Click Add People, copy the Share group link and share it with your co-workers. You can also add those not currently on Workplace by using their email address and community setting to invite new users, where a new user account will be created.
