You can keep on top of your notifications by going to the icon on the bottom-left corner of your screen and click settings. Click on the notifications button.
Here you can adjust how you get notifications on desktop, mobile and email to amend what you are notified about. This includes push notification settings, notification sound settings, email frequency and what type of email notification you receive.
On the mobile app, you can also adjust your workplace notifications by turning off push notification, so you will only be notified when you are in-app.
You can also manage your group notifications in bulk rather than changing your notification setting one-by-one for each group. Go to Groups in your Home menu to edit notification settings for specific groups. Click Bulk Manage Groups, filter your notifications, and prioritise groups for the most important updates.
To block notifications during meetings or focus time, you can use the Do Not Disturb function found by clicking on your profile picture in the bottom left of the screen. You can even set a do not disturb schedule to block notifications out of hours, so this turns on ‘automagically.’
You can also set a status in Workplace for events such as time off sick, traveling, or working from home to let co-workers know where you will be. Your status will be displayed on your Workplace profile and in Workplace Chat. This feature can be similarly accessed by clicking on your profile picture in the bottom left of Workplace.
