To schedule posts for other people on Workplace, use the Draft For function. The Draft for function means that multiple people can post as a People Team. You can draft posts yourself for others and give Draft Permissions to other people. Drafting Permissions are granted by System Admins, Content Moderators or Custom Role Admins.
To grant Draft Permission, click the Admin Panel in the top left of WP, click Draft For, click Grant Permission, where you can select a user to be the drafter (who writes the post) and the final author (who will approve the drafts sent to them by the Drafter). As a System Admin you can also give drafting permission to yourself.
Having granted permissions, click to workplace Home and click Draft for in the Left Panel. Click +New Draft. This will bring up the name of authors you have permission to draft form and search the group you want to post to. You can only draft posts for the group that both you and the author are members of. Create, edit and save your draft. Schedule the post by clicking the calendar icon in the bottom right and choose the date and time you wan your post to go live. Press confirm, then submit for approval. The author will receive a notification that the draft has been sent to them.
The Draft For function is only available on the Desktop Version of workplace, so will not show in the Workplace mobile app.
