This article will go over the customisation options available for the Upcoming events web part in ODW products and services.

Editing the Upcoming events web part
To make change to the welcome banner follow the below steps.
- Edit the page using the edit button in the right-hand side of the ribbon.
- Once in edit mode click into the zone the welcome banner is located.
- You will see the edit menu on the left-hand side.
- The property pane will now display to the right.
- Make the changes required and republish the page.
The following fields are the customisable options available for Upcoming events:
| Feed type | Change where the feed gets its events from. |
| Feed URL | The URL of the list the events are found |
| Date rage | The range of events to pull back from the list |
| Go to text | The title of the link in the top right-hand corner |
| Go to URL | The URL behind the link on the right-hand corner |
| Use custom colours instead of theme | When set to on a colour pallet will display below where you can choose the background colour of the web part |
| Maximum width | Maximum width of web part |
| Convert from UTC | If your feed returns Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) events and your events appear at the wrong time zone, try enabling "Convert from UTC". |
| Use proxy | If you get a message saying, "Failed to fetch the feed URL you specified.", try enabling the "Use proxy" option. |
| Cache duration (minutes) | Duration in minutes the events web part refreshes with new events |
| Narrow page length | Number of events to show on page |
| Maximum number of events | Maximum amount of events to show in feed |
