Is there a name pronunciation feature like the one that was available on Workplace? 

This is not an available feature in Blink at the time of writing this. However, as a workaround, you can add a custom field to profiles for users to add the phonetic spelling of their names.  

Can we restrict which users can select the Priority post category?

Yes you can. Only Org Admins, Content Moderators, Group Admins (for their Group) and Content Creators (for their Group) can select priority. More info here. Priority posts can be created by those with Admin rights, specifically Organization Administrators, Content Moderators, and Team Administrators. However, Team Admins can only feature a post when they are the administrators of all teams in the post's audience. 

Is Events an add-on?

The Events feature is included in all Blink subscriptions and has just been released as of June 2025.  

Is Chat an add-on?

No, chat is included. But Voice and Video is an add-on. For self-serve customers (SMB) this is £4 per user/per year. 

Users do not want to provide a personal email or mobile number, how can I invite users to the platform?

They can scan the unique QR code but they still need to input details. The QR code will let them bypass entering credentials (email/mobile number) to locate their account but they will still need to complete the authentication. [Client] has Email/SMS, Microsoft, and Google set up as the authentication methods so users will likely still be prompted to enter some sort of details after scanning the QR code. They would need to authenticate via a Google account (email and password), Microsoft account (email and password) or via an OTP sent to email or mobile number. This may not be required at the time of registration but it would be a requirement for logging into the app after their account is registered. 

Is it possible to customise email invites to the platform?

Yes this is possible, however it must be done by sending an invite template across to Blink support. More info can be found here.

Can you blacklist certain words/phrases from being used on the platform?

There is no functionality to support the blacklisting of specific words/phrases on Blink at the time of writing.
