Shout-outs

Shout-outs are a feature on Workvivo that allows for you to give a colleague recognition for everyone in your organisation to see.  

To give someone a shout out on Desktop, create a post and click on the megaphone icon at the bottom of the posting modal, or alternatively you can click the “Give a shout out” button that is below the main posting window at the top of your feed. 

On mobile, to give a shoutout, click the + at the bottom left in the posting menu and select Shout-out. 

Value Updates

Value updates are a posting feature on Workvivo that allows you to link an update you're posting about to a company value. 

To create a Value update on Desktop, select the Value update button within the create a post window at the top of your feed. You will then be asked to select a value. Once done, you can write the update. 

On mobile, when creating a post, click the + at the bottom left and select Value. You will then be taken to a list where you can select the value that is relevant to the update you are posting.

Questions

Posts on Workvivo can be created as a question; the creation process of these posts can be a bit different than usual as it functions a lot more similarly to an email for example.  

When writing a question, you will need to give it a subject. You will then have a window where you can further expand on the question and provide further details. You can also add tags and attachments to questions. Once everything has been written and attached, it is ready to post. 

To create a question on desktop, click the ask a question button at the bottom right of the posting window at the top of your Workvivo feed.
