What CSP is

• CSP stands for Cloud Solution Provider. It is a Microsoft channel that allows authorised partners to sell and manage Microsoft cloud subscriptions for customers.
• The Microsoft Customer Agreement and the new commerce platform were introduced through CSP partners to simplify and standardise purchasing across buying channels.
• CSP can cover cloud services such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Intune and other Microsoft subscriptions.

What customers still own

• You retain ownership of your Microsoft tenant, users, data and internal approval decisions.
• You decide which subscriptions are required and who should receive them.
• Microsoft’s product terms and service-specific rules still apply.

What Cocentric manages

• Licensing administration, such as add, change, reassignment and subscription queries.
• Commercial and renewal coordination for subscriptions supplied through Cocentric.
• Coordination with Microsoft or partner channels where a licensing or provisioning matter requires vendor involvement.
