License billing periods

There are 3 main billing periods available for the majority of Microsoft 365 licenses. These are the set time periods that a license can be purchased in and change how often you will be billed for each license. The billing period is how long you are committing to paying for a license subscription. The available billing periods are as follows:

• Monthly rolling
• One year commitment with monthly billing
• One year commitment with single payment
• Three year commitment
