Do we need a call with Workvivo to set up SFTP?
A call is not usually necessary to set up SFTP. If you’re not familiar with using SFTP, you’ll need an SFTP client such as Transmit or Cyberduck to access the server.
Access is authenticated via Public Key Infrastructure. The recommended approach is for you to generate your own public/private key pair and share the public key, which Workvivo then loads into its configuration. You’ll connect to sftp.workvivo.com, and a member of the Workvivo infrastructure team confirms the account name once the public key is loaded.

How do I create additional SFTP access for another person?
Follow the same process and generate a key pair for each user who will access the SFTP folder, then share each public key with Workvivo.
If we change users’ names or surnames in Workvivo, will an SFTP upload match or override them?
Workvivo matches on ID. If a file is imported with a different first name or last name for that user, it will update to whatever is in the file.
